Gabazzi

An online marketplace for Nigerian foods, fresh groceries, snacks, and traditional wears — with flash deals, secure checkout, and delivery across borders.

Gabazzi had a clear mission: help Nigerians abroad shop authentic groceries, snacks, and Naija fashion the same way they would at Balogun or a local market back home.

The idea was strong.

Gabazzi needed more than a nice-looking website. They needed a real marketplace: one customers could trust, vendors could work from, and the team could run without drowning in manual follow-ups.

We designed and built the full Gabazzi platform from the ground up. Not just a shop front, but the engine behind it.

For customers

Shop like home, from anywhere

A fast, mobile-friendly storefront where shoppers browse categories, search the catalog, grab flash deals, save favourites, and check out securely.

We integrated Paystack for payments (including saved cards), built real-time delivery quotes, and added multi-currency display so diaspora customers shop in familiar currencies while prices stay anchored in Naira.

Customers can order for doorstep delivery or pickup, track orders, refer friends for rewards, and reach support without leaving the site.

For vendors

One portal, every pickup

A dedicated vendor portal where sellers see pickup requests, confirm or partially fulfil orders, manage products, track earnings, and message the Gabazzi team.

When a customer buys from multiple vendors in one cart, the system automatically splits the order and creates separate pickup requests. No manual untangling required.

For operations

Run the marketplace, not spreadsheets

A full admin dashboard for orders, products, vendors, logistics, finance, referrals, and a shipment queue that processes courier labels in the background.

We built workflows for tricky real-world cases, like when an item is out of stock and needs a substitution before the vendor re-confirms.

A Gabazzi Rider app lets riders get assigned pickups, upload proof of collection, and track earnings.

From manual chaos to a live marketplace

Gabazzi went from trying to figure everything out manually to a live, end-to-end marketplace at gabazzi.com.
